[ Lia & David ] Married

There were so many happy and exciting moments during Lia and David’s downtown wedding, along with a few tears of joy. One of those tearful moments happened after Lia looked in the mirror after getting her makeup done. She had a huge burst of emotion, elated with her look, followed by everyone in the room realizing it was happening, she was the bride and this was her wedding day. This was the first of the two times I joined in with the tears that day. Lia and David had a great time together before the ceremony, after doing a “first look” and having a few moments to themselves on thier day, we finished all the portraits before the ceremony. Lia was able to contain her tears until after exiting the ceremony, but when the wedding party and family came in to congratulate them- the tissues got passed out.

I had the distinct pleasure of Photographing another Sivik wedding! Lisa’s brother Bob married his beauty Jackie in 2009 and I was beyond thrilled to capture some amazing moments for these incredible families. Lisa and Jeff are such a sweet and lighthearted couple, so friendly and considerate. After meeting Jeff’s family and knowing Lisa’s already, it is obvious all of their sweetness was passed down to them from their amazing families. Enjoy some of Lisa and Jeff’s lovely wedding.

When I met Stefanie over a year ago she described her wedding as (like the movie…) ”My Big Fat Italian Wedding!” I was not sure what to expect, but this is what I saw at their wedding: Lots of family and friends, beautiful details, an amazingly gorgeous bride, toasts that made everyone cry and the largest cookie table in the whole wide world!
